How to use this dashboard
The left sidebar lists every lesson, grouped by module. Click any lesson title to expand its tabs: Idea (one-line summary), Formal (definitions and the result statement), Derivation (full step-by-step proof where one is given in the notes), Intuition (plain-language explanation), Visualise (interactive demo where one is wired up), Why it matters (concept links and exam role), and Self-test (sample sub-questions).
Per the Trinity 2026 lectures (slide 1, p.6): "you are not expected to remember derivations. You should be comfortable with the steps involved." Every derivation here is something you should be able to reconstruct under exam conditions by chaining the algebra of $\mathbb{E},\mathrm{var},\mathrm{cov},\mathbb{E}[Y\mid X]$ plus LLN, CLT, Slutsky, and the Continuous Mapping Theorem.
Excluded (per Question Types §Excluded Topics): potential outcomes / Neyman-Rubin, selection-bias decomposition, ATE / TOT / LATE deep dive, twin studies, dynamic causal effects in time series.
5. Question Types: full step-by-step guides
Each section is a Question Types file. Inside, each Big Type opens to its Sub-types; each Sub-type expands to "What it asks", the full numbered step-by-step guide, the relevant concepts (linked to lessons by name), and the past papers it appeared in.
6. Worksheets: lessons + Question-Type sub-types per sub-part
For every sub-part in worksheets 2 to 8, two pieces of guidance:
lessons — the dashboard cards (Module 0 to 4) you need to answer it (blue pills, click to jump).
QT type — the matching sub-question type from Section 5 (orange pills, click to jump and expand). Some sub-parts have NO existing QT match and are flagged ⚠ NEW: ... — candidates for adding a new sub-question type later. The full list of proposed new sub-types lives in Study Guide/Proposed New QT Sub-question Types.md.
⛔ EXCLUDED: no longer examinable. ⚠ OUT-OF-SYLLABUS: needs a tool the course doesn't cover.
